“It is to be an unusual restaurant completely washed around by lake water.”
Herbert Halbritter, Architect
In its entirety and Southern exposure, the lavishly glass-paned interior and its front terrace offer a wonderful view of Lake Neusiedl’s gorgeous natural spectacle and the surrounding scenery year round.
Materials used are teakwood, glass, steel and a dark-gray Eternit in the shade of the lake’s colors. A printed, exchangeable ceiling penetrates the glass front and connects the interior with the exterior. The spacious open air area is located directly in front of the marina. A membrane construction selected as a shading element accompanies the building in its form.
